Background
Our client had certain buying strengths and sales channels which it wanted to leverage to create a new venture. It had drafted an embryonic business plan but did not have the resource available to take this through the delivery phase to go live.
Appointment
Brookstand was tasked with creating a robust business case which ensured that the client’s objectives could be realised with commercial success. Having proved the business viability, we worked with the client to ensure that the financial backing was in place and that the client was able to participate in an implementation exercise. Here we defined resource requirements and identified any gaps.

Having guided the client through the stages of initiation and definition, we worked to create a project plan identifying work streams, costs, resources and timeframes. We established a clear communication plan which provided the client with timely information for both monitoring and to make critical decisions on progress.
Application
Brookstand took control of the project management allowing the business not to lose focus of its day to day activities. We ran the project ensuring work progressed according to timeframes, timely communication was clear and decisions at each stage of the project life cycle were made by the appropriate personnel. Brookstand took the lead on ensuring that business processes were mapped, financial and operational controls were put in place and the client had the right technology and resources . The recruitment of staff to this new venture was undertaken.
Implementation
Brookstand delivered the project to live and ensured a post implementation report enabled the client to identify areas for future development. Finally a review of the business opportunity was undertaken to ensure the business case remained valid.
